Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)

Salary: £65,000 + £5,500 Car Allowance + Benefits

The Opportunity A leading, well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking an MRICS-qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Midlands cost management team. The role will focus primarily on the delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects for a range of occupier and landlord clients. Experience with in the industrial and logistics sector is desirable and will be seen as a strong advantage, though it is not essential.

• Deliver full pre- and post-contract cost management services
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, feasibility studies and procurement strategies
• Manage tender processes, contractor analysis and appointment
• Administer contracts, valuations, variations, change control and final accounts
• Provide clear, accurate commercial advice and reporting to clients
• Work closely with Project Managers, Building Surveyors and other disciplines
• Support projects within industrial and logistics environments where required
• Maintain professional standards in line with RICS best practice

• Strong experience in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Proven background within a consultancy environment
• Sound commercial acumen and cost management expertise
• Confident client-facing communicator with strong written skills
• Experience in industrial and logistics developments
• Working knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC experience beneficial)
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
