Freelance Construction Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out (CAT
A)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Construction Site Manager to oversee a 6‑week commercial CAT A fit‑out project on behalf of our client.
This is a short‑term contract role, ideal for a hands‑on Site Manager with strong commercial fit‑out experience who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities- Day‑to‑day management of site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to a high standard
- Maintaining health & safety compliance on site
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
- Liaising with the project team and client representatives
- Proven experience managing commercial CAT A fit‑out projects
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold preferred), and First Aid
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage short‑term programmes efficiently
