Assistant Site Manager

With a strong pipeline of work underway across the Midlands region, we’re looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support our site teams in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their site management career and gain greater exposure to the delivery of live construction projects.

Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will play a key role in coordinating site activities, maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, and programme delivery.

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations.
• Helping ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring site progress against the programme.
• Assisting with quality inspections and snagging to ensure works meet required standards.
• Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
• Promoting a positive site culture and support effective communication across the team.

• Industry relevant qualifications (e.g. SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS)
• Previous experience of working for a main contractor as an Assistant Site Manager/Supervisor
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within construction.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• A valid UK driving licence
