Project Director - Data Centres; Nordics

We are a rapidly growing team looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major data centre construction project in the Nordics. The successful candidate will be based either 100 % in-country or may need to travel internationally to the Nordics on an 11/3 rotation.

• Manage all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre‑construction, construction, and close‑out/fit‑up.

• Work with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget.
• Support contractor pre‑qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
• Support contract negotiations.
• Assist the client and the client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying‑out and scheduling of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants.

• Manage the general contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground.
• Coordinate Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase.
• Work with the client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking.
• Liaise with the client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis.

• Initiate close‑out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance.
• Establish close‑out documentation requirements with the client’s document controller; collect and track receipt of all close‑out documents until completion, including warranties, as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, etc.
• Assist with city and/or other authority final inspections and occupancy process.
• Assist the client in scheduling, coordination and management of all owner‑direct vendors and consultants.

• In-depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques.
• Ability to manage technical disciplines.
• Experience working on data centre new‑build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds.
• Ability to coordinate the work of other discipline‑specific owner’s representatives to achieve the objectives set by the client.
• Ability to commit to significant international travel.
