To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Pay: Up to £27,144 per Annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: Full time 40 hours over 5 days, shifts between 7:30am-6pm

Our Nursery in Moseley is set within a beautiful period property to the east of Birmingham. The nursery consists of six rooms, all providing plenty of space for children to safely explore and investigate the environment around them. All the rooms in our Moseley nursery are designed to enhance children’s curiosity and their drive to build on their knowledge and understanding.

We are located in east Birmingham on Wake Green Road, just off the A41 and a short distance from Hall Green Train Station. Parking is available outside the nursery.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
• Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
• Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
• Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
• Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
• Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
• Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
