Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to young residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and self-esteem.

Plan and facilitate recreational and educational activities, helping residents to develop new skills and interests.

Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.

Build positive relationships with residents, promoting trust and open communication.

Maintain accurate records and reports regarding residents' care plans and progress.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, therapists, and educational staff.

Participate in staff training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young people.

Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and practices.
