We aim to create a warm, nurturing, caring and educational environment that stimulates your child, where your child can feel safe and cared for while learning, so that he or she may achieve their fullest potential as a unique individual in society.

• Develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with potential for permanent position upon successful completion. Potential to progress into other childcare‑oriented roles such as social work, teaching, managerial roles, etc.
• Provide an excellent range of activities that ensure the child learns whilst having fun.
• Support children’s learning and development, including planning and observations.
• Prepare and maintain the environment and resources for the children.
• Prepare food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
• Support children’s self‑help needs.
• Be creative and enthusiastic.
• Follow safeguarding rules and undertake First Aid training as required.
• Undertake training as appropriate to meet any changes in standards or legal requirements.
• Ensure that all health and hygiene requirements are always adhered to.
• Complete Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification at the end of the course.
• Training is completed remotely via Teams; your tutor will support you and visit your setting. Online remote training sessions will take place once every week for the first eight weeks and will be scheduled as appropriate.
• Complete Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.

Apprentices are required to be flexible. The average working week will be between 30 and 40 hours, Monday to Friday. Shifts to be confirmed.
