Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner

The Old Station Nursery Group invites applications for a Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner in Northfield.

Pay range:
Up to £12.45 per hour based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working hours:

Part‑time 15 hours per week, from 11 am–1 pm, Monday to Friday.

Location:

19 Woodland Road, Northfield, Birmingham, West Midlands, B31 2HU

Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). No sponsorship available.

What Your Role Involves
  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
