A growing Tech organisation is seeking a Procurement Implementation Consultant to join its expanding Client Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys applying their expertise to transformation and implementation projects rather than traditional hands‑on procurement activity.
This is not a direct procurement role.
The organisation delivers innovative technology solutions to a broad client base including major private sector organisations and large public sector bodies. With continued growth across the UK and internationally, they are now looking to strengthen their delivery capability as new client programmes are launched.
This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation of procurement‑related solutions for clients, particularly within local government and public sector environments

Working as part of a collaborative project team, the successful candidate will lead the procurement and sourcing workstream within client implementation projects. The focus of the role is guiding organisations through the integration of new procurement approaches and ensuring they are embedded effectively within tendering and contracting processes.
You will work closely with clients to review procurement documentation, support organisational engagement and provide expert guidance on incorporating new commercial approaches into procurement activity.
This is a highly consultative role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem‑solving skills, alongside a solid understanding of procurement frameworks and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the procurement and sourcing workstream for new client implementation projects
- Guide organisations through procurement process changes linked to new financial solutions
- Support the integration of new approaches into tender documentation and evaluation criteria
- Work closely with procurement teams and other departments to build engagement and adoption
- Respond to complex procurement queries from existing clients and develop practical solutions
- Review and support updates to procurement documentation and contract templates
- Collaborate with internal teams on project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience working with procurement and contracting processes
, ideally within local government or the wider public sector - Strong understanding of public procurement regulations
- Experience drafting or reviewing tender and contract documentation
- Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and propose practical solutions
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
