Senior M&A Associate

Our client is seeking a Senior M&A Associate to join their international M&A team, supporting origination and execution activities across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and India. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in identifying, analysing, and delivering strategic acquisitions within a global portfolio of software and technology companies.

The role is remote, with some travel required when business needs demand.

Responsibilities
  • Support the full M&A process, from initial target analysis through due diligence to deal completion.
  • Prepare and manage document requests, financial evaluations, integrated models, and decision templates.
  • Contribute to the development of templates, analysis processes, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Oversee the handover of project data to integration teams, track acquisition results, and conduct post-acquisition reviews.
  • Assist with strategic evaluations and analyses for the M&A and business development teams.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (with a focus on Corporate Finance).
  • Experience in Corporate Finance or M&A.
  • Strong understanding of financial KPIs.
  • Knowledge of the IT/software sector (desirable).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English;
    German language skills are an advantage.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional 5 personal days.
