Talent Frame are pleased to be working with a leading national law firm to recruit a Bid Manager on a 12-14 month fixed term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders on high-value, strategically important tender and proposal activity. The Bid Manager will play a key role in developing commercially compelling submissions, panel responses and capability materials, helping the firm win work across regional and national markets.
You’ll lead and support the creation of impactful bid documents and presentations, ensuring each opportunity is approached with clarity, structure and strategic insight. The role involves close collaboration with the wider New Business and Marketing teams, acting as a trusted advisor to fee earners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or support on producing high-quality tenders, proposals and pitch materials across the Property Platform
- Work on both legal and consultancy tenders, including larger cross-platform opportunities
- Shape and strengthen propositions by identifying differentiators and developing client-focused, persuasive content
- Provide strong project management across the full bid lifecycle, including kick-off, timelines, stakeholder engagement and final submission
- Coordinate inputs from Finance, IT, Compliance, HR and other teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Draft, edit and proofread clear, commercially compelling content
- Coach fee earners ahead of pitch presentations
- Analyse bid outcomes and support continuous improvement activity
- Ensure all materials are produced in line with brand, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting or leading formal tenders and proposals in a B2B environment
- Background in property, legal or construction sectors is advantageous but not essential
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive and client-focused content
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and guiding them through the bid process
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a proactive, solutions-led mindset
- Confident using CRM systems, online research tools and Microsoft Office
- InDesign experience is desirable but not essential
- Collaborative working style and ability to build strong internal relationships
