Salary: £27,000 – £33,000 depending on experience

purpose, tasks and responsibilities
The Apprenticeship Assessment Co-Ordinator plays a key role in supporting the assessment of ICA products requiring an Apprenticeship Assessment.
You'll manage the full end-to-end coordination of the Assessment process, ensuring compliance with assessment standards, timely booking of assessments, and effective communication with key stakeholders, including apprentices, employers and assessors.
As the first point of contact for apprentices and external stakeholders, you'll play an important customer-facing role, providing clear guidance and excellent service throughout.
You'll be responsible for:
Apprenticeship Assessment Coordination
- Register apprentices for their assessment and make sure they have the correct system access and instructions.
- Upload assessment materials and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Carry out pre‑assessment checks to confirm apprentices have met all required criteria.
- Ensure employer/apprentice forms are completed and signed correctly.
- Process evidence and documentation for apprentices entering the Assessment phase.
- Book online assessments and coordinate availability with apprentices, employers and assessors.
- Collate assessor documentation and create results reports for internal and external audiences.
- Work with training providers and employers to keep assessments on track and completed within required time frames.
- Maintain accurate records within ICA and external systems (including DfE platforms).
Stakeholder & Customer Service Support
- Act as the first point of contact for apprentices, employers and training providers, providing timely and professional responses.
- Manage the Apprenticeship Assessment mailbox and handle queries accurately.
- Communicate assessment results and outcomes clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support assessor onboarding by providing necessary information, guidance and training.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, assessors and regulatory bodies.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Support the coordination of quality assurance activities for the Apprenticeship Assessment function.
- Ensure all assessment activity meets required regulatory and compliance standards.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting, including producing data and performance statistics.
- Process assessor invoices and collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payments.
- Raise invoices to external clients and help resolve any queries related to these.
