As a Creative Account Manager for Macmillan, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional creative services that meet both the client’s contractual requirements and ITG’s internal KPIs. You’ll act as the key liaison between the client and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring all content is delivered on time, on brand, and to the highest standard. With a strong focus on accuracy, process, and relationship management, you will help to ensure an outstanding client experience at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities:- Key role within the Macmillan account team.
- Deliver best-in-class client service with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Manageend-to-end delivery for creative services, & production house from client brief through to final asset creation.
- Maintain excellent client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and daily point of contact.
- Lead and attend both client and internal project meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal/client SLAs, critical paths, processes, and quality standards.
- Manage multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneously across creative and artwork.
- Oversee the management of Canopy: client training, administration and close relationship with configuration team to resolve any workflow issues
- Own the financial management of your account: invoicing, tracking spend and chasing POs.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Ops, Creative, Studio, Print Production etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Work closely with the Senior Account Director to escape concerns
- Continuously seek out efficiencies and process improvements to support smarter ways of working.
- Maintain accurate documentation via workflow toolssuch as , Canopy and Synergist.
- You’re passionate about customer service and have proven account and project management experience in a creative or marketing environment.
- Experience in creative, artwork,, and an awareness ofprint and POS production.
- You’ll have an ability to not just take briefs, but challenge themwhen necessary. Understanding the whybehind the request.
- You will be able to giveclear, actionable feedback to creative and studio teams, bridging the gap between the client and the creative team.
- Superorganised with strong prioritisation and time-management skills.
- You’re an effective problem solver, especially under pressure and in client-facing situations. You can anticipate blockers before they become issues (e.g., delayed copy, late PO approvals).
- Can demonstrate commercial acumenand attention to detail in managing budgets and project scopes.
- You need to have fabulous communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels. Represent ITG in a confident, knowledgeable, and solutions-focused way at all times.
- Can demonstrate you are agile, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changeable environment.
- A natural team playerwho thrives in a collaborative setting.
- Proficient in Excel and workflow platforms(e.g. Canopy, ).
