Research Centre Coordinator – Birmingham (B1 Area)– Birmingham (B1 Area)

Location:

Birmingham

Salary: £27,000 (DOE)

Contract:

3-Month Fixed Term (potential to continue)

Hours:

Monday to Friday – occasional late evenings (up to 10pm)

We are looking for an organised and personable Facility Coordinator to support the smooth running of a busy research facility in central Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or individuals who enjoy people-facing administrative roles, where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for welcoming clients and participants, coordinating bookings, and ensuring research sessions run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage facility bookings and room schedules

* Prepare research rooms and equipment for client sessions

* Welcome clients, visitors, and research participants

* Act as the main on-site contact during visits

* Support streaming, recordings, and session setup

* Ensure the facility is clean, organised, and fully stocked

* Liaise with the recruitment team regarding participant flow

* Provide administrative support including contacting respondents

* Monitor stock levels for office supplies and refreshments

* Maintain booking records and reports

Requirements

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Friendly and professional approach with clients and visitors

* Good IT skills including MS Office

* Able to multitask in a busy environment

* Flexible to work occasional evenings (up to 10pm several times per month)

* Experience in administration, hospitality, customer service, events, or facilities is beneficial
