Our ‘Good School’ (OFSTED, September 2021) is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly
motivated school administrator/first aider.
Cardinal Wiseman is a small Secondary school with a community of staff and pupils that show care
and compassion for each other. As a Catholic school we place our value in the person, recognising
that each life is unique and precious.
The ideal candidate will need to be confident and able to communicate effectively. You will need to
have excellent administration skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
We need a committed team player with excellent organisational skills - with the ability to work
independently, use ICT efficiently and manage time effectively and prioritise workload with high
levels of drive and resilience.
You will hold a Level 3 award First Aid at work qualification or be willing to attend training.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a busy and varied environment whilst
remaining calm, friendly, and respectful towards pupils, staff, parents/carers, and visitors. They will
be efficient, reliable and highly competent in using ICT packages and have the ability to work on
their own initiative. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible person with
excellent interpersonal skills. Applicants will need to have good IT skills, knowledge of SIMS
desirable, but not essential. Applicants should be numerate with a high level of oral and written
communication skills – someone who has the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
The role is 36.5 hours per week, Term Time only
