Job DescriptionOur purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a Facilities Assistant you will contribute to this by supporting our Environmental Objectives and Targets and working within the company’s Environmental Management System.
Your Role Will Involve- Assist with managing Control access for contractors for Catering, Cleaning & Waste Management, M&E and Fabric Maintenance, Vending and general visitors.
- Understand the relevant Operating Framework, SLA’s and site-specific instructions and in particular the emergency procedures and contingency plans.
- Understand the requirements of Fujitsu’s Safety/Environment/Business Management Systems
- Act as main point of contact for the Facilities Manager during their absence from the premises, escalating any issues to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
- Out of hours support to site maybe required on an ad-hoc basis to underpin the Incidents and Escalations Procedure and support sites to minimise impact to business from occurrences.
- Support the efficient operation of the Mailroom and Goods Received/Despatched functions, to include courier requests.
- Provide a focal point for building residents offering a high level of Customer Service on a daily basis through face to face, telephone and email communications.
- Conducting routine Housekeeping and H&S inspections of the premises; arranging for resolution of any issues or escalating to the Facilities Manager.
- To assist with the management of meeting room bookings and specific resident requests
- Exhibit effective organisation skills
- Able to clearly communicate with contractors and stakeholders
- Good Time management and able to prioritise own and others workload to achieve desired results
- Understand MS office and able to use applications
- Have an eye for detail
