Job Title:

Administrator (FTC - Temp Assignment)

Location: Birmingham, B31 (Near Longbridge Park & Ride / 6-minute walk from Longbridge Train Station)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - Temporary (minimum 3 months, likely to extend to 5+ months)

Start Date: Immediate (after 1 interview stage)

Salary / Rate: Competitive - aligned with £26,000-£28,000 FTE

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to support a busy team on an urgent temporary assignment. This role is highly data-driven and will also provide administrative support to the finance function
, so strong attention to detail and advanced Excel capability are essential.

This is an office-based role in modern, serviced offices in Birmingham (B31). Due to location, candidates must be comfortable commuting via public transport or driving.

Key Responsibilities
  • High-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Maintaining, updating and reconciling spreadsheets
  • Supporting finance-related administrative tasks
  • Extracting, analysing and manipulating data using Excel
  • Producing reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
  • General administrative support as required
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (ESSENTIAL)
    • Confident using VLOOKUPs
    • Experience with Pivot Tables
  • Excellent IT skills with strong data handling ability
  • Previous experience in an administrative or data-focused role
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to start immediately
  • Comfortable working in an office-based role in Birmingham (B31)
Desirable
  • Previous experience supporting a finance function
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information
  • This role will be offered as an FTC but is temporary in nature
  • Initial contract of 3 months
    , with strong potential to extend
  • Only one interview stage
