We are working closely alongside Birmingham Children's Trust to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Admin Assistant on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.21 - £15.68 per hour

Summary

The Business Support Admin Assistant provides high-quality, efficient, and consistent professional support services across the organization. The role is highly dynamic, requiring the successful candidate to move between different services and adapt to various administrative needs. You will be expected to work from the office at least two days per week, with the possibility of more depending on the specific service assignment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to internal and external customers, including switchboard and reception duties, ensuring all needs are met within the Business Agreement.
  • Fully support business meetings, including taking notes and ensuring the timely production and distribution of outputs.
  • Maintain accurate file and data records, ensuring data quality, archiving, and retention adhere to Data Protection Act principles.
  • Uphold safety and security by adhering to Trust policies and reporting issues immediately.
  • Administer financial processes, handle monies, deal with queries, place orders, and monitor stock levels.
Essentials
  • Proven ability to deal with change and move fluidly between different services.
  • Ability to learn new administrative systems and processes quickly.
  • A strong understanding of maintaining confidentiality and complying with data protection requirements.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Additional Requirements
  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K.
  • This role requires a Basic DBS.
