An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join a well-established SME manufacturing business.
This is a hands-on role within a small accounts team, supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function. The successful candidate will work closely with the Office Manager, assisting with bookkeeping and general accounting duties across the business.
Due to the nature of the business, the role is fully on-site within a manufacturing facility, so candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial environment.

What will you do as a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant?
* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day bookkeeping activities
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
* Completing bank reconciliations and monitoring financial transactions
* Supporting the preparation of financial reports and documentation
* Working with Sage 50 and an internal bespoke accounting system
* Liaising with internal teams to obtain financial information and documentation
* Providing general finance and administrative support as required
What do you need as a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant?
* Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
* Experience using Sage 50 or similar accounting software
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage workload effectively within a small team environment
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Comfortable working on-site within a manufacturing setting
