Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in Birmingham city centre. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant looking for that next step up. You will ideally have a strong transactional background and be looking for a role where you will be responsible for preparing management accounts, dealing with accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, cash flow reporting and month end reporting.

You will ideally have excellent interpersonal skills and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computerised accounting software. You will ideally be either AAT qualified or studying towards the AAT and looking to pursue either ACCA/CIMA longer term.
