A well‑established professional services firm is seeking an Audit & Accounts Manager to join its audit and accounts team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio while overseeing the delivery of audit and accounts engagements. The position combines technical oversight, client management, and team leadership within a collaborative environment.

• Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee audit and accounts engagements from start to completion
• Review statutory accounts and audit files, ensuring compliance with professional standards
• Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities to add value to clients
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building long‑term professional relationships
• Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses to provide practical insight and advice
• Lead, support, and develop junior and senior team members
• Monitor workflow to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Previous experience in an Audit & Accounts Manager or similar role within practice
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounts for SME and owner‑managed clients
• Confident leader with experience managing and developing teams
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
• Experience with accounting and audit systems (software experience advantageous)
