The Digital Designer Role

We drive significant volume through our advertising and email campaigns, which total several million dollars in spend a year. As a Digital Designer, you will be working closely with the Design Manager and VP of Brand Marketing, and will be responsible for creating exceptional digital experiences that elevate our brand. If you have a creative eye and the ability to conceptualize and design visual content that informs and engages audiences, this is the role for you.

Design

Responsibilities
  • Produce best-in-class digital campaign assets across paid media, email, web, and performance channels.
  • Design static and motion-based assets for Meta, Tik Tok, Google Display, You Tube, Linked In, and emerging platforms, optimized for performance and platform best practices.
  • Translate creative strategy and campaign direction into scalable, high-performing digital systems and templates.
  • Implement best practices and brand consistency across all digital channels
  • Utilize insights and data to make informed design decisions that drive user engagement and conversion.
  • Create with versatility and constantly seek new and innovative ways to elevate consumer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the VP Marketing, Design Manager & Digital Media Manager to produce brand relevant digital consumer experiences that reflect and elevate brand’s DNA and standards.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding digital portfolio (required) showcasing best-in-class solutions with a high level of design excellence
  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional agency or in-house experience in a digital graphic design role
  • Understanding of e-commerce, email and performance marketing channels
  • Command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience building and maintaining landing pages in Shogun or similar platform
  • Experience building & deploying emails through a robust platform such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo or Salesforce - utilizing templates and/or HTML
  • Up to date knowledge of email best practices
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and modern web design principles
  • Working knowledge of motion and video software (i.e. After Effects, Premiere)
  • A deep understanding of brand experience, voice, tone, storytelling, UX, user flow, and branding across multiple channels
  • BA in Advertising, Marketing, Design, or related career experience
  • Ability to commute to our office in Birmingham, MI.
