Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify potential cost factors and evaluate their impact on the overall project budget.
• Lead the bid process, including preparing bid packages, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids, and presenting final bids to clients and management.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop cost-effective design and construction solutions.
• Conduct risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential cost overruns and project delays.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and construction materials and methods to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates.
• Provide ongoing cost tracking and management throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budget compliance and profitability.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction.
• Proven track record as an Estimator in commercial construction (estimating projects of at least $5M+).
• Expert knowledge of commercial estimating techniques, software, and databases.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, contracts, and bidding processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interface with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing cost estimates and bids.
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
