Cargo Handler

The Cargo Handler is responsible for loading and unloading freight on trailers in a safe and timely manner, as well as frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight. The role includes accurately staging and auditing next‑day routes and performing other warehouse duties as assigned.

Shift: M-F 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (subject to change)

Pay: $16.41 per hour

• Load and unload freight on trucks and trailers
• Safely load and unload trailers and trucks using approved equipment
• Use handheld scanners to track freight efficiently throughout the network
• Stage and audit next‑day routes accurately
• Label boxes correctly and prepare freight for shipment as required
• Verify documentation and condition of freight to meet quality standards
• Check‑in and unload freight accurately
• Restock or restore damaged freight when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure warehouse duties (cardboard, styrofoam, demanufacture, etc.) are completed as directed
• Work well without direct supervision, maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
