Class B Delivery Driver – Birmingham, AL

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, is hiring a Class B Delivery Driver. The role involves safely operating a 24’ box truck, delivering products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Monday – Friday, 2:00 am to finish.

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with a gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds.
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document activity in the truck log.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude.

• A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B).
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• A good driving record.
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted).
