A fitness coach specializes in mentoring clients in their journey toward a healthier lifestyle, helping them reach their individual goals for physical fitness. Responsibilities include developing training programs based on clients’ needs, facilitating physical fitness training sessions in individual or group settings, reviewing clients’ medical histories for risk prevention, monitoring progress and adjusting programs, building rapport, and motivating clients to achieve their goals.
FitnessCoach Responsibilities
- Provide market research and generate leads using social media to target prospective clients.
- Train new employees on sales tactics and point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Certify in CPR and first aid to attend appropriately to health issues of participants.
- Certify in CPR and first response a medical training in order to provide immediate medical response to members in need.
- Develop and conduct group/individual diabetes self‑management educational sessions using evidence‑based protocols.
- Design each HIIT class to match the skill and modifications for all physical levels for all participants.
- Track client’s progress by assessing BMI, measurements, and body fat percentages.
- Train clients and teach group classes including indoor cycling, Zumba, and HIIT.
- Develop and conduct group/individual diabetes self‑management educational sessions using evidence‑based protocols.
- CPR
Certified Fit Coach, CPR AED Certified, Membership Sales.
- Kids
Inspire, encourage, teach, correct, and challenge school‑aged kids in proper fitness protocol.
- Fitness Programs
Create specialized health and fitness programs by gathering information from members in one‑on‑one appointments and by utilizing Activ Trax fitness platform.
- Training Programs
Develop personalized training programs and nutrition protocols for a variety of competitive physique athletes and general populations.
- Heart Rate
Coach members in a group setting through a prescribed 1‑hour workout focusing on a 5‑zone heart‑rate interval program.
- Injury Prevention
Circuit 13 provides a new approach to exercise and educates members on the importance of injury prevention and endurance during exercise.
- Motivational Skills
Performs full physical assessments, develops personalized fitness programs, motivational coach directed client through aerobic, strength, and flexibility training.
- Physical Fitness
Lead classes and demonstrate exercises to participants or clients, design and implement fitness and habit based nutrition programs remotely.
- Problem‑Solving Skills
Evaluate members’ or client’s fitness levels and create appropriate fitness plans, schedule appointments, solve issues, and partner with other staff to promote customer service.
