Our client Industries is looking for two Senior Java Developers. We need a backend and a UI developer. The candidates must complete a coding challenge and be able to come to Birmingham for a face-to-face interview. The process:

Role:
Senior Developer

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline - preferred
• 6+ years in Java Application Development (Java/J2EE/EJB)
• Proficient in SQL Database Development (also DB2)
• Comprehensive SDLC experience (requirements, architecture, design, testing and deployment)
• Understand and be able to explain common OO Design patterns. Knowledge of front controller pattern a strong +
• Web Service Development (XML/SOAP/REST)
• Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD)
• Knowledge of Cobol / CICS a plus (Migrating legacy code to java and native stored procedures)

• Develop applications using JAVA framework with Sencha (Ext & Sencha Touch) front end technologies.
• Experience Mobile Application Development
• Knowledge and solid experience with open source frameworks such as Jquery, require
  
  JS, EXT.
• Contributions to Open Source Projects
• Experience working on Agile teams using Scrum
• Advanced knowledge and experience with DB2 & Web Sphere application server.
