This position provides a career development opportunity for a current Hospital Maintenance employee interested in advancing within the electrical trade. The Electrician Apprentice role is designed to build foundational electrical skills through hands‑on experience while working under the supervision of licensed electricians in a healthcare environment.

As an Electrician Apprentice, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while developing technical knowledge, safety awareness, and job‑specific competencies. This role is ideal for a dependable employee who is motivated to learn, committed to safety, and interested in long‑term growth within Hospital Maintenance.

To assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in a hospital setting under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Systems, Electrical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• ASHE Health Care Physical Environment Worker Certification required within six months of employment.
