HVAC Service Technician

We are hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support residential and light commercial service operations in Birmingham, Alabama

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections to improve system efficiency and lifespan
• Identify repair needs and recommend repairs, replacements, or system upgrades when appropriate
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including repair notes and parts usage
• Communicate findings and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers
• Coordinate with installation teams and office staff to ensure efficient scheduling and workflow

• Minimum 2+ years of HVAC service and repair experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, airflow principles, and diagnostics
• EPA certification required (additional certifications preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and manufacturer schematics
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
