POSITION:
Plumbing Helper

The Plumbing Helper assists plumbers and supervisors with the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction job sites. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are willing to learn the plumbing trade while working safely and productively as part of a team.

The Plumbing Helper is expected to follow directions, maintain a strong work ethic, and contribute to a safe and organized jobsite.

• Assist plumbers with installation of piping, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
• Carry, load, and unload materials and tools.
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipe as directed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and lead plumbers.
• Attend safety meetings and follow all company safety rules.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.

• Willingness to learn and work hard.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and jobsite environments.

• Previous construction experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.

• Work may be indoors or outdoors.
• May require working in tight spaces, on ladders, or at heights.
• Requires standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and use of hand and power tools.
• Travel between job sites may be required.
