Metro Mechanical is hiring experienced HVAC service technicians in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a full‑time role with steady year‑round work and a company vehicle. You’ll work independently on commercial HVAC and light refrigeration systems, leading service calls and mentoring junior techs.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose HVAC system issues and perform preventive maintenance
- Lead service calls and act as a resource for junior technicians
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Participate in on‑call rotation and handle emergency service calls
Monday to Friday, rotating on‑call schedule
Qualifications- 5+ years of HVAC experience (commercial preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong work ethic, technical skills, and leadership qualities
