Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to support our production and maintenance operations. You will work with a variety of metals and welding equipment to ensure the quality and accuracy of the final product.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications.
  • Select appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and materials based on the project requirements.
  • Set up welding equipment and adjust settings to ensure proper fusion of metals.
  • Employ various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, arc, and spot welding to fabricate or repair metal parts and structures.
  • Inspect welds to identify and rectify any defects, ensuring compliance with industry and quality standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure its optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to plan and prioritize welding projects.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
  • Assist in training and guiding less experienced welders, if required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in welding techniques and equipment.

    Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Thorough understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with different types of metal and their welding requirements.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various welding equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina and strength to handle welding tasks that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged standing.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Welder) preferred.
