• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly). Compensation levels reflect experience; hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate.
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Adequate math skills with ability to apply techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic proficiency in computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
• Experience:
  
  1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or experience in cleaning (e.g., Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning).
• Certificates:
  Highly desired certifications from the IICRC (Carpet Cleaning Technician preferred but not required).
• Advancement opportunities:
  Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT).
