The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facility equipment and infrastructure across various sites within the United States. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The Maintenance Technician collaborates closely with facility management and other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and implement preventive maintenance programs.
By proactively identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly, the technician helps extend the lifespan of equipment and supports operational continuity. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a safe, reliable, and well-maintained environment that supports the overall success of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, HVAC, or electrical systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards such as OSHA.
- Ability to operate specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, machinery, and building infrastructure components.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support compliance and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and equipment servicing as needed.
The Maintenance Technician utilizes a combination of technical and analytical skills daily to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems allows the technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance with precision. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members, vendors, and management to ensure maintenance tasks are prioritized and completed effectively. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems enhances the technician's ability to track work orders and maintain accurate records.
Additionally, strong problem-solving abilities enable the technician to identify root causes of malfunctions and implement long-term solutions that improve equipment reliability.

- Friday 8AM- 5PM
Rotating weekends for on call emergencies.
