We are looking for an Electrical Technician I to support our Revere brand. This position will work at our Birmingham, Alabama location. Our Revere brand is a leading provider of automation and control solutions for the industrial, water and wastewater treatment, power and energy, manufacturing, food and beverage, oil and gas, and pulp and paper industries. We design, build, and implement customized automation and control systems for highly complex projects.

As an Electrical Technician I, you will:

• Perform skilled electrical work in the design, layout, assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical control panels and wiring used in electrical systems.
• Read and interpret detailed drawings or schematics to mount and connect electrical panel components, including switches, pilot lights, surge suppressors, circuit breakers, relays, VFDs, and PLC hardware.
• Work with Team Lead, Production Supervisor, and engineering to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with shipping and receiving to ensure the availability of proper parts and assist in shipping to ensure proper and timely shipping of goods.
• Perform fabrication and layout of components on subpanels and enclosures.
• Install and shape conduit using mechanical or hydraulic conduit benders.
• Label and terminate wires or cables to electrical components and terminals.
• Maintain safety practices and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Keep management informed about the reliability of tools and equipment.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Working knowledge of drafting, electrical system layout, blueprint reading, and mathematics; familiarity with methods, materials, and tools used in electrical system installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Considerable knowledge of electrical theory principles applied to circuits and wiring systems and ability to apply this knowledge to work situations.
• Skilled in operating many types of production tools and equipment; skilled in reading blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to follow proper methods, procedures, and safety precautions of line work; ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.
