Non-Armed Security Guard Part Time
Steward Machine – Plant 1

Steward Machine is seeking a dependable and alert Non-Armed Security Guard to provide security coverage at Plant
1. This position operates on a rotating shift schedule shared between three employees and includes weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Company-provided uniforms will be issued for this position.
Schedule- Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Saturday)
- Weekend Coverage (Rotating):
- Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday)
- Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Monday)
Schedule rotates weekly to ensure fair distribution of weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Position SummaryThe Non-Armed Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company property. This role requires high visibility, consistent patrol activity, strong attention to detail, and reliability during extended shifts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct hourly perimeter walks to ensure all gates are secure and locked
- Patrol the premises regularly, including offices and shop areas
- Ensure the building is unlocked for cleaning personnel upon arrival
- Verify that the building is fully secured and locked after cleaning crews leave
- Monitor facility access points and control entry/exit of personnel and visitors
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Maintain daily security logs and incident reports
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures
- Respond promptly to emergencies or security concerns

- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous security or industrial facility experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to walk the perimeter of the facility hourly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work 12+ hour shifts
