Role OverviewSecurity Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Bank Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Minimum Qualifications- Valid ASRB License as required by state licensing authority
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns
- Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
- Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
- Perform routine security tasks (locking/unlocking doors)
- Assist visitors and employees professionally
- Enforce site‑specific Post Orders and security protocols
- Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (smoking, loitering, parking)
- Ability to perform in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
- Weekend availability
- Strong situational awareness and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
- Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-year verifiable military, law enforcement or security experience.
- 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
