As a Security Officer - Flex Mall Bike in Birmingham, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as retail/malls. This Flex Part‑Time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you while exploring new opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and create a welcoming environment with exceptional customer service.

Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
• Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.

• Able to ride a bike.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Will be considered with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements, if applicable, will be met prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
