Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative plays a central role in IPQuest’s growth by serving as the first point of engagement for prospective customers and a proactive relationship builder for existing accounts.

This individual will manage inbound sales inquiries, conduct outbound prospecting, support the Sales and Operations teams, and help guide dental and healthcare practices toward technology solutions that meet their needs.

This is an on-site role based in our Homewood, AL office, where collaboration, shared success, and clear communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales calls, emails, and web inquiries.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to dental and healthcare practices throughout Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and surrounding regions.
  • Qualify leads, identify client needs, and schedule discovery calls or onsite visits for Outside Sales or Solutions Consultants.
  • Prepare quotes, renewal notices, and sales proposals using IPQuest’s pricing and service guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in CRM and ticketing systems (e.g., Connect Wise).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless onboarding and exceptional customer experience.
  • Support account management efforts by following up on open opportunities, renewals, and service expansion conversations.
  • Represent IPQuest’s values of integrity, empathy, and excellence in every customer engagement.
  • Prepare and organize products for project deployment at the Homewood office.
  • Occasionally handle service support calls and emails as assigned by management.
  • Receive product shipments at the Homewood office and accurately enter received items into the inventory management system.
  • Ensure all customer interactions reflect IPQuest’s values of integrity, empathy, and excellence.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of inside sales, customer service, or business development experience—preferably in technology, healthcare, or professional services.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate service offerings and value.
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing platforms (e.g., Connect Wise, Hub Spot, Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a high volume of interactions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Full-time, on-site role at our Birmingham, AL office.
  • There is an occasional need to travel onsite within Alabama for project assessments, project updates, or other sales-oriented visits as required.
