Job SummaryWe are looking for a Rental Account Manager to join our team for Monday‑Friday between 7:00am‑5:00pm. The role involves the sales and marketing of Velocity's Commercial Truck Rental product line and day‑to‑day fleet operations.
Principal Responsibilities- Actively market the commercial truck rental product line.
- Develop and execute an effective marketing plan.
- Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
- Visit assigned customers, prospect new customers, and act as a public relations liaison.
- Communicate rental needs to inside support people.
- Meet budget for rental revenue and utilization in your AOR and meet new business sales goals.
- Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow‑up appointments with decision makers.
- Schedule and document activities.
- Develop and maintain market awareness of competitive trends and respond accordingly.
- Regularly meet with the Regional Rental Manager/Director of Rental to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
- 2–5+ years of related sales experience preferred.
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, planning, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast‑paced environment with a customer service focus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Can work well independently and within a team environment.
Monday‑Friday, 7:00am‑5:00pm.
Compensation- Base Salary: $55,000‑$60,000 per year (depending on skills and qualifications).
