Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt with a Commission structure
Direct Report: Sales Manager or Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibility: NA
Location: Varies
Job Summary: Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for building relationships with our customers and assuring their business needs are met.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities

- Have positive interactions and communication with all customers and suppliers.
- Manage multiple customer orders, associated tasks, and projects simultaneously and respond quickly to all customer requests.
- Take responsibility for the profitability of each of your individual customer order transactions (working in conjunction with Field Sales and Management when necessary).
- Manage customers and suppliers with a positive attitude.
- Work to meet required customer ship dates.
- Take responsibility for the completion of your orders through the invoicing stage.
- Process orders and quotations on an accurate and timely basis.
- Provide quotation copies to field sales reps on a timely basis.
- Work closely with field sales to meet customer needs (quotations, pricing, project work, product research, expediting)
- Keep customer cross‑reference and customer contract pricing current.

- 3+ years in an Inside Sales or Customer Service Role
- Mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred
- Vocational degree or industry work experience
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While the office portion of this job is largely a sedentary role, you need to have the ability to lift files and boxes. You should have the ability to lift up to 10 pounds, climb stairs and walk the warehouse floor if necessary.
