- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the rare disease marketplace, therapeutic landscape, and product (mechanism of action, indication, efficacy, safety, etc.) to deliver clear, concise and accurate communication of PRC‑approved content to target audiences.
- Apply knowledge of healthcare industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, and market conditions; analyse these factors in business plans and daily execution within compliance guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs, office staff, and others in the patient‑care continuum.
- Ask strategic, insightful questions to identify customer needs from all stakeholders and help offices identify appropriate patients.
- Demonstrate strong account‑management skills (account planning, field‑resource coordination, customer education, promotion, reporting).
- Work independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration toward shared goals and communicating progress and best practices cross‑functionally.
- Enter required CRM data, including target responses, notes and follow‑through actions in accordance with client policies and procedures.
- Conduct in‑service meetings with HCPs to educate on company product and disease state, providing meals in compliance with company policies and training.
- Organise, facilitate and manage speaker programmes, obtain sponsorship approvals for booths, and attend conferences per company policies and training.
- Manage daily sales call activities to optimise time and maximise achievement of sales objectives.
- Comply with all pertinent company policies and training.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience required
- Documented history of success
- Specialty sales experience highly preferred
- Rare disease experience preferred
- Team‑based or collaborative selling experience
- Ability to travel overnight if required
