Overview

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$13.50 to $16.50 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.66 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. Associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using proper communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods and perform duties (including walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling) as required by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math and cash handling experience preferred.
• Should be able to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
