Job Title: Analyst, Quality Assurance II
Department: Technology

Reports To: Manager, QA and Compliance
The Quality Assurance Analyst II is responsible for developing, managing, and executing the quality assurance program for our organization. The quality assurance program will cover all aspects of the organization. Ensures that the final product observes the organization's quality standards, taking a deep dive into a program or service to uncover bugs, errors, and issues.
Responsibilities- Document test cases. Perform and document risk analysis. Record test progress and results. Create test plans.
- Define and implement IT quality standards, processes, and procedures. Train and mentor lower level team members on IT quality standards.
- Develop working knowledge of all systems and applications involved in QA testing activities.
- Assist in managing the entire QA process. Ensure that all environments, systems, and personnel are in place prior to start of QA process. Coordinate all testing efforts including non-QA team member responsibilities. Manage relationships with internal and external resources including reporting results and disseminating responses. Report activities to all parties involved in the QA process. Execute QA testing activities as needed.
- Assist in conducting regular quality system audits and work collaboratively to improve compliance.
- Assist in initiating corrective action processes resulting from quality reviews, audits, or any other means of problem identification.
- Assist in overseeing Document Control and training of team for updated / new procedures.
- Assist in developing and maintain a measurement capability to support management information needs on IT service delivery performance.
- Assist in developing reporting capabilities and data collection standards to analyze defect data to identify trends and proactively work to improve quality.
- Communicate the status, results, and impacts of corrective actions to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and maintain a process to identify, monitor and control risks to IT service delivery. Develop and maintain a process to ensure the requirements of projects and products are delivered in the associated work products.
- Assist in developing and lead auditing plans for work in-process and finished projects, throughout the development life cycle up to and including implementation.
- Ensure resolution of corrective actions is accomplished in a timely manner using sound methods for root cause analysis, short term remediation, and permanent solutions.
- Participate in and review design control activities. Champion continuous improvement efforts to meet or exceed quality objectives.
- Assist in developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
- Discover bugs, issues, and errors in software.
- Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 - 4 years of related experience.
- Experience working for a retail company preferred.
- Self-Starter.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- History of success in making change and achieving objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and facilitate positive interpersonal relations with coworkers, business partner, and contractors.
- Cloud and SAS environment experience a plus.
- Mobile Device testing experience a plus.
