This is your opportunity to gain hands‑on, real‑world experience that matches your career interests. We offer paid student jobs and externships for 1st‑4th year DVM students with over 850 hospitals and specialty centers.

Placements are typically 2‑4 weeks, but we are flexible to meet your schedule’s demands. There are no Final date to receive applicationss

• Gain broad clinical experience with mentorship and supervision from experienced veterinarians in internal medicine, surgery, and other services offered by your hospital.
• Observe and participate in medical and surgical procedures, the diagnostic process, and client communication.
• Enhance diagnostic skills by interpreting fecal samples, blood smears, radiographic images, urinalysis, and CBC/Chemistry panels.
• Fine‑tune technical skills by applying classroom knowledge in a supportive environment.
• Participate in case management, diagnostic interpretation, and therapeutic drug selection.

• Active enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at an accredited university.
• Professional comportment and appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive, friendly attitude.
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
• A compassionate, team‑player attitude and respect for clients and their pets.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Our DVM Student Program invests in your future with financial support, flexibility, and invaluable connections.

Paid Externship Opportunity: Weekly stipend of $500 for each week worked.

Student Bonus Program: $5,000 sign‑on bonus for each year you participate if you make Mission Pet Health your home post‑graduation.

Ability to stand extended periods, lift and restrain animals, and exhibit manual dexterity for clinical tasks. Work in clinical environment with exposure to animals, allergens, cleaning agents. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
