On-Campus Student Advocate (Colorado State University, 2029 Graduate) - Southern Veterinary Partners
Mission Pet Health is seeking a proactive student advocate to bridge connections between the university and our organization. The role focuses on student engagement, event coordination, and knowledge sharing within the veterinary community.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary liaison between Mission Pet Health and university students, faculty, and clubs.
- Promote awareness and participation in our veterinary student programs through networking, email outreach, and attending student meetings.
- Organize campus events such as lunch & learn or meet‑and‑greet, managing logistics from scheduling to catering.
- Share information about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
- Report campus insights on job fairs and events, assist with visitor visits, and support our on‑campus presence.
- Complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within the first year.
- Support social media by providing monthly content, including photos or stories about your experiences and student events.
- Current 1st, 2nd, or 3rd‑year veterinary student.
- Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
- Not employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.
