As a Treatment Nurse at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you will be responsible in providing advanced nursing care to residents with complex medical conditions, wounds, or those requiring specialized treatments in a nursing home or long-term care facility. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, focusing on wound management, medication administration, and other medical treatments to promote resident healing and well‑being.
QUALIFICATIONSFOR A TREATMENT NURSE RN
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Certification in wound care, ostomy care, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in wound care and treatment nursing, preferably in a long‑term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong clinical skills, including wound assessment and management, medication administration, and treatment procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments.
- Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to nursing care.
