This is a contract position for a Travel Nurse located on‑site in Birmingham, AL. The Travel Nurse will provide professional nursing care to patients, collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintain accurate medical documentation. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety protocols. High adaptability and quick learning are essential for adjusting to diverse healthcare settings.
Qualifications- Clinical skills, including proactive assessment, patient monitoring, and administering treatments or medications as prescribed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards in healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for collaborating with diverse healthcare teams and patients.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities to address complex medical situations and emergencies effectively.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama is required; compact license is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are required.
- Prior experience in travel nursing or similar roles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt to various healthcare environments and maintain a patient‑focused approach.
