American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position in Birmingham, AL, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and night shift availability on a 13-week contract.

• Located in a 505-bed hospital in Birmingham, AL, recognized for cardiovascular, stroke, and surgical care
• SICU/ICU-CCU unit with 12 beds serving surgical, vascular, and general ICU patients
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift schedule: 3x12, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to any ICU, including to facilities within a 25-mile radius
• 13-week contract

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — AHA-issued only (American Red Cross not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required

• Navy scrubs required; nail polish is not permitted
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• An ICU-specific skills checklist is required
