Strong clinical assessment skills for diverse adult medical and post-surgical patients.
Ability to manage 4-6 patient assignments safely.
Experience with IV placement, medication administration, PCA pumps.
Experience with wound care, surgical drains, catheters, and chest tubes.
Telemetry monitoring experience.
Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
Competency in electronic health record charting, including admission, transfer, and discharge workflows.
Proven ability to recognize and intervene in clinical deterioration.
Description:
The position requires strong clinical assessment skills for diverse adult medical and post-surgical patients.
The RN will manage 4-6 patient assignments safely.
Experience with IV placement, medication administration, PCA pumps, wound care, surgical drains, catheters, and chest tubes is essential.
Telemetry monitoring experience is required.
Candidates should possess strong time-management and organizational abilities.

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of Med-Surg or acute care experience.
Comfort with high-volume patient turnover and multidisciplinary rounding is beneficial.
Charge nurse, preceptor, or clinical leadership experience is preferred.
Strong patient- and family-education skills are essential.
The type of patients on the unit will primarily be medical and surgical.
Candidates should have the ability to meet the 4 Cs.
The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs.
Fleece and other unacceptable attire are not permitted.
